Return to the Screen but not to form...

(A review of Wallace and Gromit in 'A Matter of Loaf and Death')The new Wallace and Gromit had some pretty funny moments and just as many pop culutre references and film gags as the previous outings did, but the storyline lacked the charm some of the early ones did. The new characters weren't particually memorable and some jokes fell short. Despite it's flaws it is a good peice of animation with some great moments and hopefully Wallace and Gromit will continue to stay at it's true home of the BBC. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Short comic conversations

(A review of The Flying Car)This clerks TV special is really funny and features some classic Randal/Dante banter. Kevin Smith is most likely the king of coming up with hillarious hypothetical situations that get conveyed in his films. It would have been great if Kevin did more skits like this made for television but I guess that's a bit to much to ask. If I give any details it'll ruin the shock and hillarity, If you like the View Askew series you will love this! 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Cartoon Spin-off Kid's don't care about
Posted : 10 months, 3 weeks ago on 11 January 2009 12:31
(A review of "Stargate: Infinity")Really bad Stargate show aimed at children. The animation and style are like bad Titan A.E. It tried to teach morals and give lessons on the course of the stargate commands lame adventures. Kids don't know what Stargate is so why should they care about it... That's why it got cancelled because no one watched it. If your going to make animated spin-offs for kids make it on something they know and love not a Film and TV series primarily aimed at adults. Dum concept with bad execution. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Good but now Formulated
Posted : 10 months, 3 weeks ago on 11 January 2009 09:21
(A review of Scrubs)Was an amusing show when it started out, but now has become a really formulated sitcom. I don't expect modern sitcoms to be the same every week, there should be a little more than that going for them. The little pop culture references and day dream sequences used to be a treat and all though they were hit and miss they were still funny viewing. Now that the show has become more widespread and naturally got a wider range of viewers who a high percentage are idiotic they can just do that over and over again. Instead of writing funny jokes they now just put in something wacky or over the top silly for the viewers to look at. Loads of shows have become like this because the mass population don't like change and will gladly watch the same stuff over and over again. The first handleful of years are funny and it can be great when high profile stars guest like Elizabeth Banks, but otherwise this show has become the same every week with poorly written gags. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
A Modern Seaseme Street

(A review of Peppa Pig)Best childrens show produced in a long time. The characters are loveable and relatable creations drawn in a great art style that makes it both simplistic and friendly. The 10 minute serving of episodes are just enough to provide some great family situations that involve solving some problems and learning things a child audience cares about. The episodic adventures are fun and hillarious and keep you coming back for more. I consider this the Seaseme Street of the 21st Century a perfect watch for learning children and whoevers taking care of them. A really engaging show. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Stupid Man, Stupid Show
Posted : 10 months, 3 weeks ago on 9 January 2009 05:20
(A review of "How to Look Good Naked")Stupid reality show presented by a stupid stupid man who came out with the single worst sentence in God knows how long: "Girlfriend, with the right bra we can make these bad boys look boobalicious." What an enomous tit.. A show for the moronic population or overweight women who want to look good naked, those two groups usually crossover. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Beyond Parody...
Posted : 10 months, 3 weeks ago on 9 January 2009 05:15
(A review of Britain's Got the Pop Factor ...and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictl)Risible attempt to parody something that's utterly beyond parody. Expect this to be repackaged each year for morons to buy on the DVD market, exactly like all his other stuff. Talk out about milking a cash cow - this bloke's a champion at it. Go back to banging about Bullseye... You usually do. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
"Lilo & Stitch: The Series" review
Posted : 11 months, 1 week ago on 22 December 2008 06:29
(A review of "Lilo & Stitch: The Series")Totally watchable show but really should only be watched by those who fell in love with the movie. The series makes you like the character of Lilo less which is a shame because she was the reason so many loved the film. All of her one liners and great moments are abset from the series and she is sometimes just a pain in the series. But other times she can 100% be the Lilo from the opening stretch of the film. The animation is second rate which is pretty poor for disney. It's a good that the orginal cast remains but the some of the stories are pretty weak. Fan's will find most of the humour and cameos hillarious and some of the experiments introduced are bad ass. Pleakly remains on the ball. Not a must see by any stretch but still a funny cartoon. 0 comments, Reply to this entry

(A review of )Best Police show if not best show on television. It's great seeing Vic and his team cracking down on crooks and getting themselves out of their own messes each week and the overarching stories will keep you coming back for more. Can't say enough good things about this show. You will be hooked from pilot. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Firefly review

(A review of Firefly)If you don't deal with loss well do not watch this show. You will get angry knowing that this (and the movie) is all there is too these epic characters. The show just gets better and better and the crew becomes a strong group of likeable characters. The overall deep story is barely touched upon but what is seen I totally love! If any show needs a second chance it's Firefly 0 comments, Reply to this entry
